The Universe is basically a cloud of dust and particles. Every once in a while a cosmic event will cause a gravitational collapse, and all the dust and particles get pulled towards a powerful source of energy. A microscopic event now expands light years across and contains worlds within worlds.
The event produces stars consistently. Some get absorbed into other star’s gravitational collapses, some burn hot enough to remain steady for a long time, while some burn super bright and attract more energy then they can stand and go out with a big bang, their supernova becoming another cosmically charged cloud of dust.
I know now, that I have always wanted to shine, to be more than I was, to escape the gravitational collapse of the mundane. Music has been my supernova; a way to make the dust glow long after I was gone.
